PVAngels is a for-profit tech company changing the face of local online activism and philanthropy by bringing the best of local engineering and product design to the cause community of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
We think that a lively start-up mentality coupled with life-changing issues and an inspiring mission go hand-in-hand. We believe that people working together can make a difference, and that giving back to our community can be fun, easy, and financially rewarding.
We're looking for a community-content manager to take the reins of the press and social media outlets. Do you tweet? A lot? Love finding and telling great stories? Want to feel the power of a million member fan page? Do people you respect think you're a pretty good writer? Don't get respect but still think you're a pretty good writer?
If you answered yes to at least some of those, are curious about the others, and want to help do-gooders do better, please let us know.
Is your code so cool that there should be a cooler way to describe it? When you need a break from coding, do you code something new? Can you make things look amazing in browsers that don't exist yet, or the ones that should have died years ago? Could you speed up Google's multi-millisecond response times? Can you speed up ours?
Are you a non-evil genius? Could/would you have stopped Jesse James before he got to his second bank job? Do you enjoy solving hard problems fast and well? Do you troubleshoot from the hip? Are you utterly reliable? Do you want to change the world? Please let us know.
This would involve such tasks as the localization of website material, multilingual SEO, and social media marketing. The role will initially be on a part-time basis, but could transform to a full-time post. Native in Spanish, fluent in English? Please let us know.
PVAngels is always seeking freelancers who are creative thinkers with originality, imaginative flair and a working knowledge of graphic design. If you've got some talent and are looking for a place to shine, please let us know.
Do you want to help but don't think you're what we're looking for? Don't despair. If you think you have something to offer - or just want to wish us a bit of professional good luck - contact us today.
