Saving the Mexican Coral Reefs (Oceanus AC)

Oceanus, A.C. is a Mexican (non-profit) organization based in Quintana Roo, Mexico that develops projects for the conservation of coral reefs.

Founded in 2006 by the Masters of Sciences Miguel García and Gabriela Nava, its mission is to develop and apply the necessary techniques and actions that contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of marine and coastal resources.

Our Vision

We are an innovative organization in the development of marine-coastal projects, which carries out actions for the conservation and restoration of ecosystems, benefiting local residents and users so that they can take advantage of marine resources in a balanced, participatory way and with love for nature.

Our Mission

Develop the techniques and actions necessary to contribute to the resilience and conservation of coastal and marine resources through the monitoring, evaluation and restoration of key species for the functioning of ecosystems.
